Some of the Indo-European peoples existed like the Hittites(Hatti), Mittani and Kassites - the reputation for cruelty(क्रूरता के लिये प्रसिद्ध) did not go to them but to the Semitic Assyrians against whom they fought.
While the Assyrians and Babylonians enslaved the Jews, it was the Persians(Cyrus the Great), who called themselves Aryans, who released them from their captivity!

The  Hatkar  (archaically transliterated as  HattiKara  or  Barhatta  ,  BaraHatti  ) are an  Indian warrior caste , found predominantly in the state of  Maharashtra . There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
