Was Alexander really too great?
Alexander is too much credited for which he doesn't deserve.Last persian ruler Darius-3(Nanda as per Indian record) had taken Alexander very lightly.That was the main reason for fall of the great persian empire.When Alexander entered in India he was highly resisted even by small Indian kings.Alexander didn't dare to fight against powerful Satvahan and Kalinga empire beyond Indus river.That was "Ashoka the Great" who conqured these two great empires

The  Hatkar  (archaically transliterated as  HattiKara  or  Barhatta  ,  BaraHatti  ) are an  Indian warrior caste , found predominantly in the state of  Maharashtra . About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
