DNA Analysis of Brahaman,Maratha and Dhangar of Maharasthra
Conclusion:
1.All Four Caste shows very high (60 to 90 %) Indigenous Genetic Components (Proto-Indians /Adya Bhartiya). Because Indian Shepherds or Arya-Kshatriya Hatti/Hatkar/Gurjar/Pal/Kuruba/Ahir have ruled West Asia and some of the part of the Europe before BCE 1500. When Aryans come to India they were Shepherds.

3.Dhangars (In Maharashtra) heterogeneity is ascribable to predominantly South-Asian males and West-Eurasian females (Turkey , Israel,Georgia and Europe).

5.Western Male Genetic Flow in Chitpavan Brahmin:
Male specific admixture from Mediterranean belt (भूमध्य समुद्र किनाऱ्यालगत) is highest (40-50%) in Chitpavan Brahmins which correlated well with European features of this caste (Light Skin,Blue/Brown/Green / Hazel eyes,Brown or Blonde hair).European admixture is moderate in Chitpavan Brahman.

6. Western Male Genetic Flow in Deshasth Brahmin:
Male specific admixture from Central Asia and East Europe is (22-28%) in Deshasth Brahmins.

8. West Eurasian Maternal (Mother Side) gene flow is from (10 to 50%) in all Four castes.
9.Maternal (Mother side) gene flow from West Asia (Turkey ,Israel,Georgia) is prominent in Dhangars and Deshasth Brahmins.
10.Dhangars (In Maharashtra), Maratha and Brahmins have common Proto-Asian Ancestry (Father Side). Maratha male harbored Anatolian (Anatolia is region in Turkey) derived J2 lineage corroborating blending with farming communities of India i.e. Mulniwasi (Mali and Kunbi castes ).
