Medes ,Med and Mittani


The Medes were an ancient Indo-Aryan people.In the third millennium BC,they migrated from the North-west of Iran to the south &occupied the highlands of the Zagros.Starting with the 7th century BC,they organized a powerful Empire that fought against the Assyrians with considerable success & heralded the downfall of the Imperial Assyrian Empire of Mesapotamia.They exercised their power over much of modern-day Iran for a brief span of around 150 years.The Medes are closely related to the modern kurd.


Mitanni- Hurrian 
Homeland of Aryan was Anatolia , indeed the Hurri was Ari they indigenous of Anatolia and it was one of sixteenth of Aryan land (The cuneiform group hu-u-ur researchers of the ancient inscriptions (H. The  Hatkar  (archaically transliterated as  HattiKara  or  Barhatta  ,  BaraHatti  ) are an  Indian warrior caste , found predominantly in the state of  Maharashtra . About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
