About Sindhi people In India
British identified Sindhi's as Non-Marshall race.Basically they are trading community.There is no caste system in Sindhi people.There original homeland was Sindhu(Indus/Hindush) region.They migrated in different parts of the country during partition of India in 1947.Sindhi and Marawari have there origin from Gurjars /Dhanagrs (Shepherds) who assigned themselves for tradings due to division of labor among brothers of the same family.Originally Sindhis and Marawaris were wool and blanket weavers.Afterwards they become cloth merchants.Now they have established themselves in various fields of trading, entertainment, engineering,medical etc..
Originally Sindhis were marshall race.They were under the Hindush Satrapy of Persian(Ajmeedh) King Darius the Great. Afterwards they become Greek- Satraps.
After conquest of Hindu-Mauryans over the Greeks they came under Mauryans rule.
Originally there was caste system in Sindhi people i.e. Rajput,Khatri, Jat, Kumhar (Potters) etc..But now days caste system in Sindhis are abandoned and formed a single business community known as Sindhi.
