Who was the great (महान कौन) Yavan(यवन) or Indian ?






Chandragupta had overthrown the powerful Nanda Empire in India but Alexander (Sikandar) didn't dare to attack the powerful Nanda empire.Chandragupta had defeated Seleucus Nicator-1 a chieftain of the army of the Alexander who had invaded India with bigger army than Alexander after his death.This Shows how powerful Chandragupta was!
Originally Yavans were the sons of the famous Indian king Yayatis sons Turvasu(Turk) and brother of the Yadu.
Yavans had spent most of the time at West Eurasia.There skin color became whiter after DNA Mutation happened due to climatic conditions at that region.
यवन एक जाति, जो गांधार देश की सीमा पर रहती थी। प्राचीन काल में यूनान में रहने वाले लोगों के लिए भी 'यवन' शब्द का प्रयोग होता था। ग्रीक लोगों को फ़ारसी में 'यौन' कहा जाता था। मान्यता है कि 'यवन' शब्द इसी 'यौन' का रूपांतर है। इनका नंदिनी गाय के योनि प्रदेश से उत्पन्न होना भी बताया गया है।
'महाभारत' के अनुसार यवन ययाति पुत्र तुर्वसु(Turkish) के वंशज थे। पहले ये क्षत्रिय थे, पर ब्राह्मणों से द्वेष रखने के कारण इनकी गिनती शूद्रों में होने लगी। महाभारत युद्ध में ये कौरवों के साथ थे। इससे पूर्व दिग्विजय के समय नकुल और सहदेव ने इन्हें पराजित किया था।
मौर्य सम्राट अशोक के शिलालेखों में भी 'यौन' शब्द का उल्लेख मिलता है। इससे पता चलता है कि उस समय इन लोगों ने पश्चिमी भारत में भी एक बस्ती स्थापित कर ली थी।

About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
