Hindush satrapy


Hindush was the Satrapy of the Achaemenid Provinces during the rule of
Persian( अजमीढ़) king Darius I the great.
The people of Sindhu were called as Hindush by Persians.The word India is derived from Indus(Sindhu).Hindush (Maurya, Kharat,Shinde,Satvahans etc..) were satraps of Persian( अजमीढ़) empire during king Darius-1 the great. Ancient Hindush, Sumerians, Persians and Jew(Yahudi) have common origin and they were closely related to each other.

About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
