Pathan is the Hindustani dialect of Pashtuns.
Pashtuns are Shepherds from ancient time.Pashtuns have Jew(Yahudi) and Vaidik(वैदिक) origin.Pashtuns are Albinos of Shepherds of the India.
Genatics:
The haplogroup R1a (Y-DNA) is found at a frequency of 51.02% among the Pashtun people. Haplogroup R1a is also found in Majority of Chitpavan Brahamins of India,Jewish,Iaranian,Kurdish and Dravidian Chenchu,Koya and Kallar Population.

About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
