Interesting fact is that Pratihar or Parihar clans do exist in Gurjars and Meenas as well as in Rajputs. What does it indicate? We are not sure about Prathviraj Chauhan whether he was from Gurjar-Pratihar dynasty or was a Rajput or Meena- Pratihar. But we know that Alan Singh Chanda (A Meena Ruler) had married her daughter to the son of Prathviraj Chauhan. The Chauhans do claim their ancestral home in Dhundhar region of Rajasthan and Meenas were Rulers of Dhundhar prior to Rajputs. There are many hidden realities which need to be discovered and there is a strong need to re-write the history.
