Genetic relation between Dhanagr sub castes of Maharashtra.

Below Genetic graph show that (Fig.4) Hatkar,Shegar,zende,Mendhe,Khutekar,Kurumwar(Kuruba),Hande,Ahir Dhangars are Genetically closer.
Genetically closest 
Hatkar and Shegar are genetically very closest. Shegar Dhangar claims that they have nothing to do with Dhangars they are descendant from Rajput of Rajsthan.
But now Shegar and Hatkar don't marry with each other. But this is not the fact.In actual Rajput are emerged from Dhangars.

Dr.Devadatta Ramchandra Bhandarkar and other western scholars have proved that Rajput are emerged from Gurjars.Gurjars and Hatkar have common origin.
Kannad Origin of Khutekar Dhangars.
As per DR. R.C. Dhere Holkars are Khutekar Dhangrs and Emigrated from Karnataka.(R. C. Dhere, Shikar Shingnapurcha ShriShambhu Mahadeo, 2001, Pune, (Marathi), Pg. 276, 277, 288, 297, 307, 312, 338, 384, 221, 143, 127, 78, 67, 45, 2)

Khutekar,Unnikanana,Kurumwar (Kuruba),Hande,Mendhe,zende Dhangars Have Kannad origin and they are genetically closer to Hatkars.
Out of that Mendhe and Zende who are supposed to be same stock of Hatkars are closer to Khutekar Dhanagrs. It proves Hatkar and Khutekar have same origin.
Hande Surname is found potentially in present Maratha caste of Kolhapur district of Maharashtra and Belgaon district of karnataka and some other district of Maharashtra.
Ahir Dhangars who speak Ahirani a mixed dialect of Gujrathi and Marathi should show closer affinity to ladshe and Dange who have supposed to be come from Gujrath.Hatkars and Dange marry each other.
Hatkars,Zhende,Mendhe,Thellari and Dange Dhangars claim their origin as a single caste.
Gadhari-Nikhar and Gadhari-Dhengar are recently migrated from North and speak Hindi.

About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
