Sandrocottus is said to have succeeded Xandramese who was a contemporary of Alexander. Sir William Jones had suggested that Chandragupta of Mudra Rakshasa must be the Sandrocottus of Greek history.There was no mention of any single word about Chanakya by any classical historian.
