मंगोल-द्राविड़ियन लोग और आर्य –द्राविड़ियन लोग






यह प्रजाति पश्चिम बंगाल और उड़ीसा में पाई जाती है। बंगाली ब्राह्मण और बंगाली कायस्थ इसके मुख्य प्रतिनिधि हैं। यह प्रजाति द्राविड़ और मंगोल तत्त्वों से बनी है। उच्च वर्गों में भारतीय आर्य लोगों के रक्त का अंश भी देखा जाता है। इन लोगों का कद मध्यम और कभी-कभी छोटा होता है। इनका सिर चौड़ा और गोल, रंग काला, बाल घने और नाक चौड़ी होती है।

आर्य द्राविड़ियन

यह प्रजाति आर्य और द्राविड़ लोगों के सम्मिश्रण से बनी है। यह उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखण्ड और राजस्थान के कुछ भागों में फैली हुई है। उच्च कुलों में हिन्दुस्तानी ब्राह्मण और निम्न कुलों में हरिजन इसका प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। इन लोगों का सिर प्राय: लम्बा या मध्यम आकार का होता है। कद कुछ छोटा, नाक मध्यम से चौड़ी और रंग हल्का भूरा, गेहुंआ होता है।

Maternally inherited DNA(Female mtDNA) was overall found to be more similar to Asians than to Europeans, though the similarity to Europeans increases as we go up the caste ladder (भारत की ऊँची जातियों में थोडा विरोधाभास नजर आता हैIउनके डीएनए रिपोर्ट में दक्षिण एशियाई(Proto Asian females) महिलाओं का प्रमाण जिनको हम नीची जाति समझते हैं लगभाग उनके जितना ही है लेकिन पश्चिम यूरेशियन पुरुषों का प्रमाण बहुत ज्यादा हैI 
 
लेकिन यह बात सच है की पश्चिम यूरेशियन एवं यूरोपियन महिलाओं का प्रमाण ऊँची जातियों में ज्यादा है जोकी नीची जाति में अत्यल्प हैI   
 
This is intriguing (कुतुहल), but there is a plausible (प्रशंसनीय) explanation. 
Migrating Eurasian populations are likely to have been mostly males who integrated into the upper castes and took native women’s.Indian populations are predominantly proto-Asian (In all castes) but with affinities to West Eurasian genes (West Eurasian admixture).

 In contrast to the mtDNA distances, Y-chromosome(Male DNA) data do not suggest a closer affinity to Asians in upper castes. The upper castes are more similar to Europeans than to Asians, the middle castes are equidistant from the two groups and the lower castes are most similar to Asians. The genetic distances between caste populations and Africans increase as one moves from lower to upper caste groups.

About 108 clans(108 कुळ/कुल) of Dhangars and 22 sub castes (22 पोट जाती).

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
