About Hatti-Hatak-Hatkar and Hatkeshwar.
Hatti is the aristocratic class made of Yaduvanshi and Nagvanshi Dhangars.
Prakrit word Hatti/Khatti is derived from Sanskrit word Kshatriya.Khattia/Hattia is the prakrit form of Kshatriya.
Word Hatak is derived from Hatti. In Arthshastra by Kauttilya Hatak means Spear /Bhala.Thus Hatkars are shepherding warriors with spear.Hatkars are also known as Barge/Bargal means Horsmen with spear.Barge word is derived from Barchi means spear or Bhala.

Hatkeshwar is the lord of Hatti people.

There are total 108 exogamous groups (clans) of Dhangars found all over India.These clans found Three and half main sub divisions due to division of labour among brothers of one family(एक ही परिवार के सदस्यो में काम का विभाजन हो गया).These are Shepherds(Hatti/Hatkar,Pal,Kuru/Kuruba,Gadariya etc..),Cow herders/Ahir (Yadu and Gawali) or Buffalo keepers(Mahaskar/Gurjar/Gujjar) and wool and blanket weavers (Khutekar,Sangar and Shegar).The half division is butchers(Khatik).All sub sects fall in either of these division.The number three and half is not random selection but has a religious and cosmological significance.
